Friday Activity Afternoons

The activity afternoons have now started and children are taking part in a range of activities including art &craft, sewing, cross country, movie making, newspaper, website, basketball and gardening. Now that we no longer have Golden Time on a Friday afternoon the Pupil Council and I have been working on our whole school approaches to behaviour management. The new system was introduced on Monday of this week and we will monitor it’s effectiveness over the next few weeks.

Harvest Service

All parents are welcome to attend our Harvest Service on Thursday 8th October at 2.30pm. We will be supporting the local charity Start Up which helps homeless people into accommodation. Donations of tinned goods –soup, beans etc, tea and coffee of toiletries –soap, shampoo, deodorant would be most welcome and children should bring these any morning in the last week. …
