This year’s school Christmas grotto was on Saturday 5th December from 1pm to 4pm and it was really successful! Even though it started off rainy ‘it soon cleared up and more people went out side to get some of the mulled wine and Indian food. The gazebo was set up for the band to keep them dry. This year there were more new stalls like:
- The card stall
- The jewellery stall
- The soap stall
- And the chocolate fountain
Over 140 children went to see Santa, and lots of them also had warm drinks and mince pies in the tinsel tearoom. Over £2,000 was raised and even though there are expenses I know this is going to make our school really special!
Some comments from the children who attended ‘’Good fun and I like the raffle’’ Aidan W ‘’Awesome and I like the Indian’’ Jamie T Victoria P thought that it was ‘’Christmassy and smelled good’’ Thank you very much to all the people who helped make the Grotto a big success. All the money raised will be used to help make school even better far all the children
