Scotland’s Got Talent!

P6/7 entered a film competition, we wanted to win so we had a big discussion with the whole class to see what we would base it on. Joe Shaw, who was going to help us with the film joined in to.

Suddenly the idea of Scotland’s got talent got mentioned and that was just the start of our film. Then the idea of break dancing midges (Biodiversity) , two dancing fairies (Faerie Wishes), and a singing loch ness monster (LoMo). With all these ideas we split up into four groups that were the, Presenters Judges and Script Writers, who wrote the script, did the judges voices and filmed the presenters.

LoMo, who wrote the song for LoMo to sing, drew LoMo and recorded her voice.

Faerie wishes, which choreographed a dance, preformed it and got two boys to dress up as fairies.

Biodiversity, made midges, made a mini stage and took lots of photos then put then together to make break dancing midges.

Finally Joe put all of these together and that was our film done.

Then we sent it off to the film contest judges to see if we can get though to the finals, then we just had to wait…

A few weeks later we got a letter saying we got through to the finals. So four of us out of each group get to go to the macrobert to see if we have won on the 24 of March!
