On the 16th of March the p6/7s went to the Peak to play basketball against the other Stirling schools. we were set into three different groups, group 1, group 2 and group 3. There were twelve matches, each team played eight. For some of the matches we sat out to get a rest and watch the other teams play. The hall was split into eight pitches and one rest area. There was hall 1 and hall 2. They all got tired very quickly, and gladly we didn’t have to play in all of the matches.
Each match lasted five minutes and the substitutes went on half way through the match. At the end all the schools went to hall two to find out who won the prizes, unfortunately we didn’t win but Sophie won the best hustle, Frazer won the most valued player, or M.V.P and Dugal was asked to play for a team called the Stirling Knights.
Before we went back to school on the bus we got a goodie bag and then we came out of the peak and went back on the bus to school.
Then a few days later we got letters to school inviting Sophie H and Fraser to try out for the Stirling Knights too.
So… well done everyone!
